About Pet Travel Advisors
Moving a pet out of Canada, or across it, means airline rules, CFIA paperwork and a calendar that runs backwards from the destination’s requirements, usually while the rest of the move needs attention too. Pet Travel Advisors was founded in 2023 to take that part off your hands, with one coordinator who plans the route, checks each requirement and stays on the file until your pet is home.
The work covers moves within Canada and from Canada to destinations worldwide. A short drive across a provincial border and a months-long preparation for Australia get the same care, because each one is the move that matters to its owner.
Our team is trained to the IATA Live Animals Regulations, the standard airlines apply to carrying live animals, and holds certificates in them. Export documentation is prepared for CFIA endorsement on every move leaving Canada. When you compare services, check training, references and whether one named person owns your file. On our moves, one does.

Export Paperwork and the Crate
The export certificate your destination asks for, with any import permit, prepared and checked before your CFIA appointment, and a crate built to the airline’s rules.
Flights and Airport Check-In
Flights booked around the Canadian season, your pet’s size and the destination’s rules, with a member of our team checking your pet in at the departure airport.
Pickup and Delivery
Partner drivers pick up from homes about one to two hours’ drive from the city your pet flies out of. At the far end someone meets your pet at the airport, or collects it from quarantine if the country requires one, and takes it to the new address.
